I've been in a funk, but I saw a reclist for stargate on Tumblr.

And at the bottom, the capstone rec was Freedoms Just Another Word for Nothing Left To Lose.

and ALSO HOLY FRICK Harris hit grad school this past school year. The 2nd Lt visited McKay like, 6 months ago. This is the first semester that Rodney isn't teaching 101. Right now. Ohhhh man this feels so cool.

Rodney is teaching Condensed Matter Physics *this semester* and he just met Dr. Katherine Friedman.

It is always so strange to have read a fic as future fic, then to read a section while it is "happening" ... ending with reading a fic as it "fades into history"
